If you experience issues launching a Brillium assessment from a Thinkific course, it is most commonly due to a misconfiguration of the Thinkific Brillium exam lesson.
The first step is to check for the most common configuration issues listed below.
Link Password Does Not Match
A frequent problem arises when the Brillium Link Password is configured on the Integration tab in Assessment Builder but fails to align with the Brillium “Hash Password” in the Thinkific Brillium Exam Lesson form.
While a Brillium Link Password is recommended rather than mandatory, when used it must correspond to the Hash Password on the Thinkific Exam Lesson so the assessment launches correctly.
Thinkific Exam Lesson Form Copy/Paste Errors
A frequent problem that is difficult to notice involves adding content to the Thinkific form that carries spaces or other “invisible characters” from copy-and-paste steps. You can identify these issues by highlighting the data on the Thinkific Exam Lesson form and checking for extra spaces at the start or end. For instance, if an extra space appears at the end of the Assessment ID while building the Thinkific lesson, the assessment will fail to launch. The same applies to the Hash password (Brillium’s Link Password mentioned above).
Assessment is not Enabled
An assessment may be disabled manually or automatically.
Once the date and time listed on the Assessment Builder Rules tab have passed, the assessment becomes automatically disabled and unavailable to respondents. This timing follows the time zone configured for the workspace containing the assessment.
Alternatively, you can disable a Brillium Assessment manually by using the slide switch in the upper right corner of the Assessment Builder.
Assessment is Archived
When a Brillium assessment is archived, it is automatically disabled and removed from the Active assessments list.
You can archive an assessment by choosing the Archive button in the Properties tab; it then becomes an Unarchive button. Selecting Unarchive restores the assessment to active status.
