Email Template Editor

Account ID
Displays the account you are currently working in, which is where the new Email Template will reside.

Email Template Type
Select the type of template you wish to use. The available template options allow you to choose between inviting or reminding respondents to take an assessment; emailing an assessment summary report to a respondent, an administrator, or a supervisor; or inviting a course respondent to take a course.

Important Note: The Supervisor Email option will only work if you create a custom field for it, and select "Supervisor's Email Address" from the Field Type dropdown. For more information, access the Help on the Custom Field Editor screen.

Email Template Name
Enter a unique name for your Email Template.

From Email Address
Displays the email address that will be used as the from address within an email based on this template.  This value cannot be edited here, as it is inherited from the configuration table.

From Name
Enter the name you would like the email to appear to be coming from.

Reply-To Email Address
Enter the email address to which replies will go. If this field is left blank, replies will be sent to the email on file for the account.

Email Format
Select the format in which emails will be sent, either Plain Text, which has no formatting, or HTML, which displays rich text.

Email Subject
Enter the subject line that will be displayed to email recipients. You can use the default subject line, in which case the dynamic field "ASSESS_NAME" will be replaced with the actual assessment name, or you can enter your own subject line.

Email Body
Enter the text that will be displayed in the email you send out. You can use the default email text, or you can enter your own text.

Dynamic Fields
NOTE: Dynamic Field options change in response to the specific template type you are using.
Whether you use default text or enter your own, the Dynamic Fields found on the bottom left-hand side of the screen can help you by serving as place holders for specific information that already exists within Brillium. Simply place your cursor anywhere within the text box, and then click a Dynamic Field to embed that field within the text. When the email is created, the Dynamic Field will automatically be populated with the actual information corresponding to the field's label. Remember that the information must already exist; therefore, if you choose a Custom Field for your Dynamic Field, and that Custom Field does not actually contain information, the email recipients will merely see the code as it appears on this page.

Shared With Sub-Accounts
By default, email templates reside in the accounts in which they are created only; however, you can share the email template you are creating or editing. Simply select "Yes" from the Shared With Sub-Accounts dropdown, and every sub-account beneath the account in which you are working will also have access to the template.
