Question Group Editor - Advanced Scoring Options

Group Passing Requirement
This setting determines if the question group score will affect the overall passing status for respondents. The default setting of “No Additional Requirements” means that the assessment will be scored holistically, without special consideration given to this particular question group. Setting this to “Must Achieve Group Passing Score” means that respondents MUST specifically pass this question group (by achieving the score stipulated in the following field) in order to pass the assessment as a whole. In other words, respondents who receive a failing score on this question group will automatically fail the entire assessment, regardless of how they perform on the remainder of it.

Group Passing Score
Enter the score that must be achieved on this question group in order to receive a passing grade. Use this setting in combination with the "Must Achieve Group Passing Score" option (explained above) to place special emphasis on this question group and provide a way for it to impact the passing status of the entire assessment.

Group Pass Comments
Provide the comments or text to be displayed at the end of the assessment to respondents who achieve a passing score on this question group.

Group Fail Comments
Provide the comments or text to be displayed at the end of the assessment to respondents who do not achieve a passing score on this question group.

Show On Summary Page
Indicate what information, if any, will be displayed on the Assessment Summary page presented upon completion of the assessment. You may choose to present no information by selecting “Nothing,” or you may present the “Group Score and Comments,” the “Group Score Only” or the "Group Comments Only."

IMPORTANT NOTE: This setting works in conjunction with the Show Grade/Score After Assessment setting found in the Post Assessment Options area of the Basic Assessment Options Editor; therefore, if that is set to display group scores, this must be set in a way that will support that setting, or that setting will have no meaning.
