From the Configuration Editor page you can change settings that will affect your entire Brillium installation. For example, if you were to change the setting for the "Organization" variable to "ABC Corporation," then "ABC Corporation" would appear as the organization name throughout the entire installation, including in the upper-right portion of the authoring pages.
IMPORTANT WARNING: Any changes made to the settings on this page will impact the entire Brillium installation. It is your responsibility to ensure that the changes made are correct by testing them after they have been made. If you are unsure about the impact of a given setting, make sure to learn exactly what the feature does before changing it. Remember, too, that most configuration setting fields are required.
Key to column headings:
Variable - This is the name or label of the setting.
Module - This is the Brillium module this setting pertains to. The "CORE" module refers to the main Brillium product.
Setting - This is the actual, current setting. If a textbox or dropdown list is available, then the setting is editable, and you may use the textbox or dropdown to modify the current setting. Rows that do not have a textbox or dropdown list are read-only and may not be modified from this Configuration Editor.
Description - This is helpful text that describes the setting and its affect on the installation.
Once you have made changes, you must either click the Save Settings button at the bottom of the form to implement them, or click the Cancel button to withdraw them.
