Once an administrator creates a new user for access to a Brillium application from the Administrator console, an email will automatically be sent to the new user. This email will contain important new user information that includes the username and a temporary password.
NOTE: Brillium Application Website Address (URL)
The Brillium application website address (Brillium application URL) will be selected by new users in one of two ways:
- Upon signing up for a free trial or purchase of a new Brillium subscription, you will select your Brillium account URL This URL is in typically the form: https://yourcompany.onlinetests.app but can be any available sub-domain that is available.
- For users with an existing account, the Brillium account URL can be obtained by contacting the Brillium Administrator for your organization.
Accessing an Account for the First Time
- Prior to accessing Brillium for the first time, a temporary password will be sent to you in a new user email.
- Use the temporary password provided in the new user email to login to the account for the first time.
- When the temporary is entered upon first login, new users will be prompted to change their password and create a personal password.
- Use the personal password for subsequent access to Brillium.
IMPORTANT TIPS
- Temporary passwords are only valid for 7 days. We encourage you to login to your account at your earliest convenience and set a personal password.
- Sometimes there are special characters that are part of the temporary password, such as a period or a comma. Be sure to include these special characters when entering the password.
- Do not us copy/paste to enter the Temporary password. Some email clients, like Outlook and web based email clients will copy invisible formatting characters when using copy/paste to enter the temporary password. Those invisible characters will get pasted with the temporary password and cause it to fail.
- The "Forgot your password?" feature only works after you have used your temporary password and set a personal password. This is to protect your user security. Once a personal password is set, users will be able to use the "Forgot your password?" feature to reset your password in the future.
